Faux locs in Lucerne & Ebikon
The look of locs — without a years-long commitment. Faux locs are a protective style with extensions, as soft, butterfly or goddess locs, in Ebikon near Lucerne.

What are Faux locs?
The style,
explained.
For faux locs, natural hair is first braided or twisted and then wrapped with extensions, creating strands that look like grown locs. Variations include sleek soft locs, deliberately uneven butterfly locs and goddess locs with curly ends.
For anyone who wants to try locs before committing to real dreadlocks — or who simply wants a striking, long-lasting look.

Process & care
How it works
We choose the variation, length and colour. The two-step install (base + wrapping) takes time; Cathy confirms the duration with your appointment so you can plan your day.
To make it last
Satin at night, gently clean and oil the scalp. Faux locs are heavier than braids: please don't tie them up tightly all the time.
Why Cathy

Questions · Faux locs
Good to know,
before you book.
Are faux locs bad for my hair?
+
Installed properly and not worn for too long, faux locs are a protective style. What matters is gentle tension at the root and careful removal.
What's the difference between faux locs and real dreadlocks?
+
Faux locs are temporary and built with extensions; real dreadlocks form permanently from your own hair.
Can Komo Beauty remove faux locs too?
+
Yes, removing braids, twists and locs is also part of the offer.
