Kids' braids & cornrows in Lucerne & Ebikon
Gentle, patient and child-friendly: cornrows, braids and twists for kids — at the studio in Ebikon or comfortably at home, weekends included.

What are Kids' braids?
The style,
explained.
Children's hair is finer and their scalp more sensitive. That's why Cathy works with gentle tension, child-appropriate lengths and breaks when needed. Cornrows, short box or knotless braids and twists are popular, often with colourful beads.
For children with coily, curly or wavy hair whose parents want a practical, protective style for school, holidays and sport.

How it works
Together with you and your child we choose a style that suits the length and age. We plan realistic times for kids — and with a home visit it can happen in familiar surroundings, with a favourite show or snack.
To make it last
A satin bonnet at night, a gentle oil on the scalp, and don't keep the braids in too long. Cathy explains what to look out for with children.

Questions · Kids' braids
Good to know,
before you book.
From what age can a child get braids?
+
It depends on hair length, scalp and the child's patience. Cathy advises you individually and recommends simple cornrows or short styles for little ones.
Can my child be braided at home?
+
Yes, kids' braids are also available as a home visit in Ebikon, Lucerne and nearby — often more relaxed for the little ones.
Are braids bad for children?
+
Not if they are done with gentle tension, not too heavy and removed in time.
